At every consultancy and routine recall, your dentist will conduct a risk assessment depending on how susceptible you may be to oral cancer, dental caries and gum disease. This can vary from 3 months to 2 years as recommended by the National Guidelines of Dental Excellence ( NICE Guidelines). Most patients are advised on a 6 months recall .

In case our dentist assigns you a moderate or high risk category you will be advised to follow a 3 months recall interval and you will be then given appropriate advice and set targets that will lower your risk of developing dental problems.
